Sábanas de la Verdad Eterna
Sheets of Eternal Truth, presented on the Renaissance staircase of the castle-fortress of Santa Pola and curated by Valeriano Venneri. The exhibition closed a project on the nude in art that included three live performances with nude models in Santa Pola, Elche and Caudete, made with Espacio de Arte 39 in Santa Pola, the studio of the artist Antonio Pons and the Casa de la Cultura de Caudete. At the opening, Christalyn purified one of her works with fire.
From the museum's presentation: "For Christalyn Brooks the nude body is a revelation of truth, a message full of purity and delicacy. In her art it becomes a harmonious meeting between the earthly and the spiritual moment." And further: "Christalyn, with her great spirituality, takes us on a journey of revelation and purification; the use of spirit, of wine, is a metaphor for pure, uncontaminated bodies." Armonie dell'Anima
Visual expressions of faith and spirituality, at the contemporary art museum of Imperia. M.A.C.I. occupies Villa Faravelli, a 1940s rationalist villa on the Ligurian coast, and holds the collection of the architect Lino Invernizzi, with works by Lucio Fontana, Josef Albers, Robert and Sonia Delaunay and František Kupka.
Liquid Soul was shown next to a work by the German artist Ernst Wilhelm Nay.
