The spiritual and effervescent art of Christalyn Brooks

Pure creativity, effervescence, fantasy, and great spirituality are the foundation of Christalyn Brooks' works, an artist who is both passionate and intriguing. Sacred figures alternate with abstract compositions, where symbolism plays a crucial role.

Christalyn's compositions rise from her soul, her spirit, and her divine energy, which translates into splendid artistic works. She creates powerful and forceful compositions, enveloping them in colors that eventually evaporate, not just metaphorically but also literally, as she ignites spirits, wines, and liquors. Her spirit permeates her canvases.

Through her works, Christalyn Brooks reveals her soul with strong yet tender and delicate energy. We are enveloped in whirlwinds of great emotional transportation and sensations that she exposes with great altruism.

For Christalyn, art is an exercise of creation, escape, and therapy; the way she creates and composes her work is fascinating. She extracts, through a maieutic process, what her spirit contains: works of the soul that become works of art. She sheds inhibitions and preconceived judgments to make room for her spiritual and identity freedom.

She sprinkles the canvases with alcoholic elements, wines, and liquors. After the sprinkling, she proceeds to ignition, cleansing the spirit from negative forces, leaving on the canvas full of art and pure spirituality: an elevation of the spirit to distance yourselves from a reality that doesn't always represent our feelings and emotions.

Christalyn Brooks' art is an opportunity for all art enthusiasts to elevate themselves with spirit and soul, overcoming the "earthly eyesores."
